January over & out....

You left me cold, sick and broke- but we also had some fun moments.....

1) I bought me a teak wood crane at a good price, I love a good find. I got pretty flowers from my ex colleagues.... 2) She was a smart girl that Marilyn.... 3) I love my bedroom and especially the wallpaper with pinups and old cars.... 4) 20 Year Anniversary at Inside, burnout and beer....5) Freddies of Pinewood favorite jeans brand.... 6) January selfie.... 7) Monday snowstorm, a trip that normally takes 20 minutes took 1 hour and 30 minutes, yes I was late for work....
                                                                                                                           

1) Mojo is a snow bulldozer but he also likes to sleep late.... 2) I found my first bakelite bracelet with carvings.... 3) My New Years outfit and a little more Marilyn..... 4) Evo dragster with a burned out tire from the 20 Year Anniversary at Inside(there's nothing like the smell of burnt rubber).... 6)I need vitamins and happy colors in my kitchen....


Tomorrow is Saturday Febuar 1th and we are of to a good start,I have a tattoo appointment....













                         

Project kitchen remake ....

Inspiration board ....
In March we will start renovating the old kitchen
There are many thoughts and ideas to keep track of
I have attempted to make an inspiration board....
 
It's really gone very well but I will probably find more inspiration along the way ....
 
But here's the first draft .....

Only two days after having made my inspiration board I found three retro lamps that I just had to own ....
I think they are gonna be a key elements in the renovation ....

I finally found a company who make old linoleum floors but unfortunately there is not one in sea green or turquoise so I have to settle for the gray and white shades maybe something red or black .....
                                                                
Only time can tell where this project will lead. I can not wait to start ....

Better late than even later....

The last nine days of our trip were spent in and around Ann Arbor Michigan

As previously described, was the trip to Ann Arbor for the purpose of being tattooed at Spiral Tattoo

but We got so much more home with us than just a tattoo

We met the most warm-hearted people who invited us to visit their home and thank You for that....

It is not the last time I visit Michigan hopefully again in 2015 if all goes well
I am sure I have left a piece of my heart there....

I am a “foodie” so farmers market was a must but next time I need a kitchen....

Hunting and outdoor life is a big industry here Cabelas is huge
We spent no less than three and a half hours there
There was plenty to look at live fish and wall to wall dead animals do I have to say that it is the husband's favorite store..... 

We also visited Detroit
You can talk about the rise and fall it is both exciting and scary
Always rooting for the underdog go Detroit We believe in you....

Next trip to the States is being planned and will start probably in Chicago then to the big swapmeet in Davenport and last but not least road trip to Michigan......
